Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas. We are sad to be so far away from family this holiday season. We Love you all and miss you.

Early Christmas Present

Yesterday we got our new bedroom set. We were so excited to finally get it. We upgraded to a King size bed and are so happy we did. Unfortunately Bryan's dresser is on order and we won't get it until after Christmas. Last night was the best night of sleep I have had in a long time. Once I get the room all decorated I will post pictures but for now this is a picture of the bedroom set that we got.

Road Trip

On Monday we took a little trip to Raleigh to see the temple and explore a little bit. We drove up to the temple and then I realized that it was Monday and the temple was closed....bummer. It is a pretty temple. We plan on going again when it is open so we can walk the grounds and then I will take some pictures. We drove through downtown Raleigh. I didn't get but a couple pictures of downtown because I was trying to give Bryanna a snack at the same time. Then we decided to go look for a park so Bryanna could get out and stretch her legs. She was not happy during the drive to Raleigh even though it is only about an hour away. We found this really nice park that isn't a traditional park with swings and slides. This park includes a lake with walking trails all around it. We decided to walk one of the trails around the lake. It was such a nice relaxing walk especially since we had scenery to look at. My favorite kind of walks. It was about a mile and half walk that we took. Bryanna loved looking at the trees, the water, the squirrels and all the other people that were on the trail. I Love Free Stuff!

On December 11th we went to Bryan's work Christmas Party. They offered Free Childcare which was Awesome. We dropped off Bryanna and went to the country club on base where the party was at. We had a really good buffet style dinner. Throughout the evening they were drawing names of airmen out of a box for prizes they were giving away. At each table we had a sheet of paper with Christmas songs listed on it and a verse from the song, we had to match the verse with the song. The prize for the winner was a Target gift card for each person at the table. I really thought we were going to win because we got all of ours right but we didn't. Towards the end of the night they had 2 more prizes to give away, A Nintendo Wii and a plasma tv. I really didn't think we had a chance at getting our name drawn for anything. Then they called out Bryan's name as the winner of the Nintendo Wii!! We were soo excited! We had always dreamed about getting a Wii and couldn't afford it. After the party we picked up Bryanna. She had so much fun playing with all the other little kids. She even got her face painted which before I realized that it was face paint kinda worried Bryan and I. From a distance it looked like she had cuts all over her face. We went home and put her to bed then we set up the Wii and stayed up wayy to late playing it. It is the best gift ever!

Weight Loss

I am happy to announce that I have now lost 42 lbs! After I had Bryanna I lost all the weight and then I gained back a lot of it from nursing her. After I stopped nursing her I started going to the gym a little bit and eating healthier. I still want to lose another 40 lbs to reach my goal weight but I am halfway there. It feels great to be able to fit into most of my old clothes again. Here is a before and after pic.

Going Private

I have debated going private for a while now and I have decided to go private. On January 1st only people that are invited will be able to read my blog. If you want an invite leave a message with your email. I am moderating comments so no one except me will see it.

The House

Here are some pictures of our living room. We finally got it all decorated and adorned with pictures of Bryanna on the wall. The only thing I have left to do is hang some curtains. It will be a little while until our room and Bryanna's room is all decorated and ready for pictures. They are a work in progress. Stay tuned for more pics. Sorry they are out of order.
